Eastern Europe International Trip

In March, two students, 3 teachers, and a dentist left the warming desert mountains, heading east for the snow.  They arrived by plane in Prague, Czech Republic. Be My Valentine

Valentine's Day is always special for us, because we get dressed up and go out for lunch! This year, each girl asked two boys to accompany her to lunch. The boys practiced their chivalry by pulling out chairs for the girls, and standing when their partner would get up to leave the table. The other guests at Golden Corral were delighted to hear the students sing a couple songs during lunchtime.

A Day at Papago Park

Students at AIA love the outdoors. Every break between classes has them running outside to the basketball court, or to see how their garden plants are growing. This Arizona Winter has been exceptionally warm, and we have had many opportunities to spend both class and free time outside.  We took a school trip to Papago Park in mid January, to explore the desert landscape and become inspired by nature.
